It’s a 1997 Lexus LX450 the luxury edition of a Toyota Land Cruiser, which has a bulletproof 4.5L straight 6-cylinder engine & 4-speed automatic transmission. It has been driven by us for more than 4,000 miles since we bought it. It was serviced from bumper to bumper, the interior was restored, and seat heaters were also installed on the front driver and passenger seats. Maintenance (All Parts installed are Premium Brand New): 1) Air filter. 2) Fresh Advanced full synthetic engine oil and OE Toyota oil filter. 3) Full inspection and alignment, the service was done by WW Tire in Brookings SD, (605) 696-7400. 4) Brakes: front and rear brake pads and calipers, front and rear brake hoses, brake master cylinder, and the brake fluid was flashed and filled with heavy-duty DOT3 brake fluid. 5) Suspension: front and rear Gabriel shocks and Monroe steering stabilizer shock. 6) Powertrain: a) Engine: all seals and gaskets were replaced using Toyota OE seals and Felpro gaskets including: · Fel-Pro valve cover gasket with grommets. · Toyota front crankshaft seals. · Toyota camshaft seals. · Toyota oil pump gasket. · Toyota oil pan pickup tube gasket, the oil pan was also removed and cleaned, and sealed using Permatex high-temperature gasket maker silicone. · Toyota iridium spark plugs, NGK wires, and Toyota distributor rotor and cab. · Toyota main belts and A/C belts, Toyota belts pullies, and tensioners. · Denso Toyota radiator, Toyota thermostat and seal, and the coolant was flashed and a new long-lasting 60% coolant was used to fill the engine cooling system. · The power steering fluid was flashed and filled. b) Transmission, transfer case, and front and rear differentials: Dextron III fluid was used to fill the transmission and the transmission filter was replaced, the transfer case and the front and rear differential fluid were drained and filled with a heavy-duty full synthetic 75W90 gear. 7) Front and rear wiper blades were all replaced. 8) New Heavy Duty Battery. 9) New alternator. 10) New catalytic convertors and Toyota/Denso oxygen sensor, the service was done by J & T exhaust in Brookings SD (605) 692-7970.
